"connection creation failed" structural steel connections

Hi! I hope someone could help me on this.

Im trying to make a baseplate connection between a column and a footing (image 1) whit the add-in structural steel connections.

My problema begins when i click on the connection button and select the 2 parts for the connection because after waiting severas seconds i can see any geometry or warnings (like on the image 2).

Then when i change the primary element for the connection by clicking on the little blue circle it show up for some seconds the geometry i need (image 3), but past few secondse it desapears and show a warning saying "connection creation failed" (imege 4).

Does someone got that problem?

PD. If i Use just the column for the connection it just not appear any geometry or warnings at all, but Still can use the button for "modify parameters"

What's your column steel section ?

I dont know if there is a more spescific name for it but appear in the revit interfaz as "baseplate"

After choosing the component, then clicking on Connection , I received the error warning

Hi ,

Please check your structural framing again.

It must be use only Certifies family for create steel connection.

Hi,

In the first case, when the column is the main element for the connection, are you sure the connection is not "hiding" in the foundation block?

The base plate connection is created at the column edge, without taking into count the foundation position

If you have Autodesk Steel Connections for Revit 2017, what family of columns and beams you use?

Are you using "certified" families?

Structural connections can be placed only on new structural framing families.

Yes i tryed on an isolated column whit same results

I was using "certified families " in US metric with those errors. Then I tried to switch to use the libery to European specific and seems like it's running now.

HEY SIR/ MAM

i have connect bolt connection with two different type of members what it is coming with warning as " The shapes for medium and fine detail levels of connected element are inconsistent " .so please suggest me what i have to do
