How to have wall structural usage control object style?

Hi--I would like to set up our Revit template so that the different types of wall structural usages (like shear, bearing, etc) control how the walls appear visually, via object styles. I see by default that unlike structural framing, there is no equivalent subcategories of the wall object styles. How do I create them, and assign them to the different structural usages?

If this needs to be done via a custom shared parameter I'm willing to do that as well, although I may need someone to walk me through how I'd do that.

you can use filters for this

I don't like using filters for this kind of thing, but if that's the easiest way to set it up I suppose I will.
