Point cloud NO visible

Morning there,

I am using Revit Structure 2016 and Autodesk Recap software.

In recap I have a point cloud survey, extension *.rcp.

When I try to insert this point cloud to Revit I have some issues.

1.- I can't see the point cloud.

I checked the units in Revit and in Recap and both have mm units.

I insert the point cloud with all options Revit has. (Center to Center & Origin to origin. & By shared coord. )

All of them insert the file but I can't see the Point Cloud object.

I selected all the object and in the window Filter I can see there is an Object Point Clouds.

2.- In Recap I split the file in layer.

I can't see these layers in Revit when I selected Visibily Graphics / Point Clouds.
There is no layers there to hide or unhide.

Please check file to be more clear.

Sorry,

I realized that I couldn't see the point cloud because it was outside of the SECTION BOX.

Now when I insert the Point cloud like an [Origen to Origen] or [Center to Center] I can see it in the project.

But when I insert like a By Shared coord. I can't see it in the project.

This point cloud is a survey so I can't move the point cloud link file in Revit because I will lose the real position of the points survey.

Revit project has shared coordinates.

Any idea?

I guess that the Recap file is doesn't have the same center that the Revit file.

How I can move the origin center Recap file or survey it in a real position?

I understand you want to position your Point Cloud file in your Autodesk Revit with shared coordinates.

Please, note, that Revit has some limitations regarding sharing coordinates between a Revit project and a ReCap file.
