Cutting problems on slab

There are four embedded structure connections(deep grey steel plate), and the pink plate is concrete slab. The Left two connection are original and ok, as it cut the pink concrete. but when I copy them to right, the steel overlay the concrete.I try to use "geometry cut"the pink slab by the right connections but it is unavailable.

It worked like this:

Give your structural connection an elevation of 1.

Join the slab and the connection (Join tool in Modify panel).

Switch join order between the two.

Give the connection an elevation of 0.

You're welcome.

To elaborate a bit on the solution, the reason for the elevation setting to 1 was so Revit would not throw the error "One element is completely inside another."
