Double Angle families not in AISC 14.1 folder

The new steel families in AISC 14.1 are great but not complete. Double angles are missing for one, not sure if other types are missing as well. Problem is the properties of the families in the AISC folder are different then the families not in that folder which makes a MTO complicated because of the different parameters utilized. i.e. in the AISC folder families use a "Nominal Weight" parameter and the families outside that folder use "W" as a "dummy" parameter for unit weight, which required conversion to multiply by the length to get total weight. The AISC folder is a great improvement, but it is not complete!!!!

Is there a timeframe when all families will be included in the AISC folder.??

Yes please submit.

Not a specific request, just pointing out that the library is not complete. Double angles are missing from the AISC 14.1 folder. This makes it difficult to accurately do material take offs when framing members have different parameters. The preferred member selections are from the AISC 14.1 folder of families. Great improvement from original families.

This is probably a waste of time since the original request from over 3 years ago hasn't happened yet, but it would also be really nice if those double angles (as well as the double channel family) could be used with the steel connections feature. Apparently, these are compound shapes not recognized by Steel Connections. The only problem is that these are nonetheless commonly used in construction, particularly for bracing. And they're not just disallowed for bracing connections. I can't even make my own steel plate in the gap between angles and just use the Steel/Bolts function to "build" a connection. Bolts recognizes the plate but not the angles or channels. Please, Autodesk, the Steel Connections updates have been great these last couple of years, but please update this so we can use the Steel Connections more often. Using Revit 2022.1.

Agreed, Material take-offs are useless without Double Angles.

This is from 2018 Autodesk, not complete in 2022. Cannot model real world structures with Autodesk Revit.
