Columns only show in Coarse view in Section looking down

This issue is easy to replicate.

We have a section cut looking down on a column.

When we go to that section cut view, the column(s) will only show up in Coarse mode.

Switch to Medium or Fine and the column(s) disappear.

I replicated this issue by starting a new Revit project. (Revit 2018.3)

On Level 1, I placed two columns and a beam going between the two columns.

I then cut a section looking at the two columns and the beam and I opened that section view. Let's call that section 1.

In Section 1, I cut a section looking down through the columns. This is Section 2.

In Section 2, the columns only show up in Coarse view, not Medium or Fine.

If I flip Section 2 to look UP, the columns appear... sometimes.

It seems to depend on where the cut is and if it includes the beam or not.

It's the weirdest thing, with no rhyme or reason.

I declare it to be a bug.

Have you tried to untick Precut... box in the column family?
