CAD Links not updating

I am working in a central model, updated a cad detail drawing that is linked into our revit model. In the past, when I close & reopen my model all of my links updated on their own. But they are not updating with my new changes unless I manually go into the manage links tab. Any suggestions?

Please let me clarify some details:

On which Revit Version are you? It happens with all your projects ? Is thee any specific file? Could you share sample?

Using Revit 2018.

No it doesn't happen with all my files. The only thing I am doing different is using design options
