topic Reference planes and beams in Revit Structure Forum

Hello everyone,

I am drawing a building in Revit, and I am having some issues while trying to model a beam that is attached to a sloped slab. The way that I done this was throgth the creation of an reference plan that would have the inclination that I want, and then I drew the beam with this reference plan attached. The problem with this is the fact that I had to delete the beam that I already had drew because she wasn´t sloped, and drew it again, but now with a reference plan attached. My doubt is if I cant do this without having to delete the beam and then re-drew it using the reference plan that I want.

Best regards

If you manually input a start and end level offset for any beam, it will detach from it's plane.
