Rebar constraints

Hello guys,

Please i need help in the rebar constraints. When i click on edit constraints, this window show up to me. Any solution please ?

Hello @Anonymous

That beam is cut by each column, producing a cut face.

Rebar cannot currently constrain to such faces resulting from a cut, so the system doesn't select a constraint for that handle automatically, showing that warning.

You can click the face of the column as a constraint target for that handle, or you can leave it without a constraint and drag the end handle to adjust its position.

Faces that can be selected as a constraint target must be part of the host element or its immediate neighbors (other elements joined with the bar's host element).

Thanks a lot. I am new to revit and BIM and i am trying to read books and watch videos to develop my skills. Any suggestions ?

I would recommend you start with the architecture essential training on lynda.com.

It will show you how Revit families, parameters, visibility work. This should be the base for further learning of structural related topics (rebar etc.)
