Beam system won't extend correctly

So I have a problem with my beam system and I haven't come across an explanation for this problem Im having.

I have created a sketch based beam system with a fixed distance that are supposed to be placed between another beamsystem and a column. I have used a ref. plane the beamsystem is connected to.

The problem is that the beamsystem won't let the beams extend to the border of my sketch when placed with correct distance. I can make my beams correct if I use a different spacing which is really anoying. Why is this happening and is there a way to fix the problem?

Hey there,

I know I'm 3 years late but I thought I would respond in case anyone has the same issue (like I did).

I found that when I have the beam selected in plan view (reflected ceiling plan), I can click the arrow that flips the structural framing ends and then I am able to adjust the end of the beam that I couldn't before.
