Cant Edit Rebar Constraint, ERROR Warning

Hello, this is so frustrating that i cant give a spesific offside to my rebar
i use the edit constraint tool but it give me a warning
" The current rebar component has no constraint. You can apply a new constraint by selecting a valid target.
Rebar components are the geometrical references that define the bar set. For example, the shape segments or the host surface. "
what should i do ? like i want to give a 20 mm rebar from the side of beam but this tool wont work

Like I mentioned in https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-structure-forum/rebar-constraints/td-p/8409278, the faces resulting from the beam cut by the column cannot be currently selected as constraints.

You can click the side face of the column as a constraint target for the selected handle. The offset will have a positive value, because the bar is positioned outside the column face (negative offset is towards the inside of the element)
