Creating structural wall with Dynamo nodes

Hi, all.

I'm using Wall.ByCurveAndHeight node to create walls. Using this node, I can make an architectural walls. Does any of you have answer to create structural walls with Dynamo?

Hello,

Your script seem to create a structural wall.

The Structrural view don't show physical wall but only analytical wall

Go to VV to set visibility of your wall.

But it seems that the hight of your analytical wall is not set. You should see a panel not a bar.

Thank you for sending message.

In my opinion, the wall I made is not structural discipline wall does not have analytical model. According to the image below, it's not ticked structural box.

If I use Dynamo to create structural walls, the only thing I tick it after creating architectural walls. I would like to know how to automatize this process.

Hi,

By default the architectural wall is drawn so you have to set the parameters Structural and Structural Usage.

is it possible to use dynamo and have my retaining wall protrude 1000mm into & along topography and add a strip foundation simultaneously?
