Hi all,

I just want to share the problem when running both Revit and Dynamo. So I've downloaded student version of Revit 2019 at home in hopes of creating some prototype dynamo scripts. When I try to run a simple dynamo script, which contains only 3 nodes (categories node, the element of category node and the parameters node) it takes a long time to process simple script. I've tried to restart revit and I've found out that I should go directly to dynamo work space after opening it without clicking or doing anything on the revit work space for the dynamo script to run as they would used to. My computer is fairly new and I don't know why it behaves like that. Looking at the task manager my RAM usage would go up to ~70% which is normal since there's so many background processes when I open my PC (Steam, AV, etc). I'm thinking that this is a problem on the OS side since I'm trying to search the Dynamo process but I can't find it which results to the Dynamo script taking too long to run. Is this some bugs when running Revit 2019 on Windows 10?

OS: Windows 10

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

RAM: 8GB

GPU: RX 570

HDD: 1TB Seagate Firecuda

I am running Windows 10, Revit 2019 and Dynamo 2.02. I have not experienced any delays running much longer dynamo scripts. It does seem necessary to restart dynamo at least part way through the day if having it running continuously.

Installing the hotfix that updates it to Revit 2019.2 solves the issue
