Hi, I have tried to properly join this beam with the column but for some reason revit does not allow it. The structural material behavior for both the beam and column is cast in place concrete. Any idea on how to solve this problem? I apologize if it has been solved but couldn't find any solution.

By right, Revit should automatically connect them. Have you tried extending the beam past the column? It will be helpful how the 3d looks like.

@Anonymous @Anonymous

i tried to duplicate the issue. i could not.

i'd try deleting the beam/Col and redrawing it.

thanks,

@Anonymous , I've tried duplicating it and not sure if I was successful but this is what I get. Instead of disallowing join, you should be able to extend the beam further away. Join them by using the Join geometry tool then use Trim/extend to clean the termination. Hope this helps.
