Thanks for the help! It worked perfectly as we hoped. Now we just need to figure out how we can override the presented layer name depending on the IfcPresentationLayer parameter for different family types in Revit.

Recently I've been trying to figure out why my slabs in my Revit model changes it's IFC layer name when exporting the model to an IFC and inspect it in Solibri Model Viewer. I want the layer value, in the identification window, to be"25_Dekker", but the slab with the opening changes the value to "A-FLOR-___-OTLN". Does anyone know if there's a workaround for this perhaps?

In Revit 2018 I've added the project parameter "IfcPresentationLayer" to control the layer property in Solibri Model Viewer. I've also tried to change it's name to IfcLayer, IfcCAD etc. without any luck.

Please take a look at this:

https://sourceforge.net/p/ifcexporter/wiki/Setting%20layer%20settings%20on%20export%20/

If it does not help , please post your example Revit file.
