Not new to Revit but new to adding structural beams and columns. I was asked to drop a few beams into a current model. When using the align tool or dragging the shape ends of a beam, my dimensions are not representing the length of the beam, the framing end does not move when I use align, and in 3D view and plan views I get a line that represents the length of the beam of when I first created and not of how the actual beam is modeled. All of this confuses me and I'm not sure what or why this is occurring.&nbsp;<BR /><BR />I've attached 3 images to help understand my issue and questions.
