Can you add dimensions to 3D View?

Is there anyway to add permanent dimensions to your 3D view rather than just the floor plans?

Yes.

Before placing dimensions, go to Architecture or Stricture tab and set the work plane, then pick a surface where you want the dimensions to stay on, for example a face of a wall, a floor, a roof, a beam, etc... flat or sloped are okay.

Thank you for responding. I am new at Revit and I am not sure how to set a work plane. If its not any trouble, could you explain what you are referring to?
