Spline through points in "Create Floor Boundary"

I'm not sure why I don't see the "Spline through Points" tool in the "Create Floor Boundary" menu. I see only the normal "Spline" tool.

Because it does not exist in the normal Revit environment. Only with the massing tools you have the spline through points

I'm new to Revit.

So, why is it that Revit doesn't have spline through points in its normal mode?

Not sure. The massing tools were added later in the development of Revit, maybe that has something to do with it. You also will see hat a lot of the tools in the massing editors are different from the other Revit environments and there are more tools not available in the other environments (e.g points).
