Hi everyone

I have a problem with the plate type that Revit defines automatically.

The format of the plate type in Revit is "PL Thickness(mm)xWidth(inch)xLength(mm)" [for example PL 8x5 1/8"x200]

but I want all the parameters to be in (mm) [for example PL 8x130x200]

I would be grateful if anyone could help me to solve this issue.

Thanks

you should start with a metric template and use metric families

I always use a metric template for my projects.

FYI, I have used plate command in the steel tab and it has been defined by Revit in the first place and we don't have permission to change it. ( When you select a plate, "Edit Type" is disabled)

Even if I use an imperial family and upload it to my metric project, Revit automatically changes its parameters into the metric.
