topic Foundation modelling with several elements in Revit Structure Forum

Greetings,

I am currently modelling a CAD archive in Revit and I came across this detail in the foundations. Since it causes a knot of several foundation elements I'm wondering how to model this (use structural walls, isolated foundation, create a Model in-place, footing or slab or a combination of all) to then add rebar.

I'd really appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Thanks in advance

PD: I've attached 2 images.

it's a combination of all,

use wall foundation for strip foundation, use isolated for both isolated and combined, use slab for pc foundations or complicated shapes in plan view, and use model in place or make a new family for complicated foundation in both plan view and section view

If you are going to use it in more then one place I would lean towards modeling in in place. that way you can copy, mirror, rotate etc. If it is just the one spot, you could look at using a structural beam, structural floor and a foundation.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks for your replies @Jason.P @Ahmed_M_Heteba

The case is as follows: Though the sections remain the same as shown in the CAD archive, the lengths vary between axis. I'll use a combination of both your answers in the project.

I really appreciate your answers. I'll be posting on this thread as I move forward.
