topic How to align rebar hooks to an inclined plane like Naviate does in Revit Structure Forum

When placing vertical rebars al wall ends, Naviate automatically rotates hooks by 45 degrees for better hook accommodation (non-clashing). The hooks seems aligned to some custom plane, i just don't know how to rotate them back to 0 or 90 degrees (rotation by 45 degrees). Revit only allows hook rotation by increment of 90 degrees.

You can create your own hook definition just make a copy of an existing one search for Rebar Hook in your project browser and select i.e. Standard - 90 deg. rename it to i.e. Standard - 45 deg.

Rightclik on the Standard - 45 deg. select Type Properties and change the parameter Hook Angle.

make sure you copy a Standard hook and not Stirrup/Tie for your situation.

You can also change the oriantation of the hook
