topic Custom Structural Framing Family - Start & End Level Offset Parameter in Revit Structure Forum

I am trying to make a custom structural framing family that needs to know it's slope relative to horizontal to drive geometry into the structural framing family, through the start level offset and end level offset parameter ideally (see image of the parameters at the project level that we all know and use daily)

Is there anyway to get this parameter information at the family level to use in formulas to drive modelled geometry (see no parameter of start/end level offset)?

If this is not possible to determine through start and end levels offset parameters, is there another good way to find the slope of a structural framing member at the family level?

Thanks!

@Jamhmer_Oc , thank you for the video.

Unfortunately though, I need this slope parameter at the family level, not at the project level, sorry if that was not clear.

End goal here is that if the slope of the beam is too high, I need my family to parametrically change at the ends based on the value slope.
