missing third party updater

Hi everyone.

I am using Revit 2025, I closed the model yesterday and uploaded the model to Autodesk viewer. When I reopened the model, a warning popped up:

I did some research and found this from Autodesk:

But the problem is I didn't use any plug-in when I created this model, and this is not a central model, all I did just uploaded it to Autodesk viewer, then why did I get this problem? And which solution should I take that won't affect my model? When I opened another model, I didn't get this warning.

Anyone has got this issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Was the Autodesk Viewer link shared with anyone else? I can only think it has been opened on a PC with an addin?

Can you review what addins you do have - Manage Tab > Extensions Panel > Add-Ins Manager

yes, the model was shared to someone via a link. I did install add-ins on Revit 2025, but I didn't use any of them when I created the model.

I didn't see the extension panel, but I have add-ins tab:

do you mean to choose "Do not warn about this updater..." or option 2 from the link: Install the 3rd-party add-on?

The Add-ins are also the additional Tabs such as DiRoots Mlabs plus the Coins addin so these would be party to the issue!

Sorry if this is hijacking a thread, but the error I'm getting is the same, so I thought no reason to start a new thread with the same error message.

I'm getting this error, in my case the add-in in question is "Forma: Forma Revit Add-in Watcher".

Now, yes I just click the "Continue working with the the file" or the "Do no warn..." and works for me, but on my team mate's computer is crashing and not loading the file. I've tried everything I can think of tho strip the file from the Add-IN code: Save as, eTransmit, Audit, remove all add-ins, disable all add-ins... nothing seems to work. Both our computers are running Revit 2025.4, though his has Magic CAD installed. But even turning that off didn't help to load the file (wanted to see if they were in conflict).

We don't use or need Forma.

Is our only option to ask the architect to send us a copy stripped of the add-on? Or is there another way to "clean the file"?

EDIT: We seem to finally managed to solve the problem with purging the architect model. Not sure if it removed the element that was causing problems or if the file was just to big (it was almost 390 Mb! Now it's around 180 Mb). Either way he's now managed to link the file and start working.
