From what I understand, the precast family you have will not work with the split-segmentation function from the precast tab. Again from what I understand, the way this function work is that this function 'splits' the structural floor into parts which are defined by the precast slab family. If you open the precast family file, they are setup as a generic model with extrusions while the slab profiles (the cuts) are defined under the profile tab (in the structural precast folder.

The way you setup your precast family is quite different compare to the Revit's precast slab family setup. The Revit 2021 setup for the split-segmentation function is quite rigid at the moment which is for precast hollow core slab or precast solid slab. The waffle slab that you are showing will be quite difficult to be adjusted to fit into this function.

The easiest solution that I can suggest for your is to make to make them into a structural beam. You can either make the whole slab a beam or make each form space and half a rib to be a beam, and make them into a beam system. Another slightly complicated (really meant more work for you) but better approach that I find would be easier to work with and also adjustable is from this video https://youtu.be/8ye6etopMj0

We have our own company standard for precast slab (Not HCS, Solid slab & Girder type which are shown in default).

Now, I wanted to add the new floor type in split function properties , what will be the proper procedure?

By your company standard, do you mean different kind of precast detail or do you have a separate family already made?

After that, you can load them in Revit thru the precast tab. Link below shows the folder path in your system.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2021/ENU/Revit-StructEng/files/GUID-3CA29220-B100-4286-8EAD-05A0F2AE63BB-htm.html

I am not sure how you created your custom precast family, so post here again if this does not work.

Yes that's what I'm doing.

I'm just thinking for another option that more quicker doing slab splitting which Precast now is included as a new tool .But anyway I hope it will be added in the function like adding side profile in the solid slab type like in hollow core as I notice with a division profile option. In that case I can add our slab profile without including the the rib(like image attached) and after splitting I can modify it with Rib.

Anyway Thanks a lot for your quick response.

Regards!
