    <description>&lt;P&gt;So you have a material parameter connected to the geometry.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Normally you would use formulas for this. However this does not work for material parameters.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In your case it is still manageable with 15 types. You can use CTRL-C CTRL-V to copy the name of the material between the different types to speed it up a little.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you would have many more types I would export the family types (FILE &amp;gt; EXPORT &amp;gt; FAMILY TYPES) and then open that catalog (.txt file) and use notepad or similar to do a search and replace and import it back into the family.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will need to make sure that spelling of the&amp;nbsp; material name is correct and that the named material is already present in the family otherwise you will get errors.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a family consisting of about 15 different types (differing dimensions of pipes). Now i'd like to change the material of a part of the sweep but when i change material in the Family Types properties pane it just changes the material for the selected type. Is there a quick way to change the material of all types of a family at the same time?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kind regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Johan&lt;/P&gt;</description>
