Hi Guys, I want to take Pipe schedule in Revit based on Installation Location such as Internal, External & Underground. Right now, the method am using is to add a Shared Parameter and feeding data manually and doing the filter in Revit 2026. Is there any other way to take the schedule without manually applying a shared parameter value. the project has over 100nos of pipes. Appreciate anyone's help!!

There is not a lot of detail provided. Are the divisions actually Indoor/Outdoor/Underground or more detailed than that?

Do you use different types for the different areas? If so, have you tried a Shared Type Parameter? That would absolutely be the easiest way.

Other more-creative options could potentially be to use other fields such as Reference Level, System Name, or Material to drive a Calculated Parameter's output.

Hi @JoshEKing, the divisions are Indoor/Outdoor/Underground & no more detail is required. This is just used for Schedule purpose only

Right now, I am doing the change using shared parameter and manually entering the values into the parameter for filtering in the schedule or taking quantity based on the installation condition where the pipes are installed.

There is a term known as model pollution since parameters used for just filtering, scheduling which doesn't have any purpose apart.
