    <description>&lt;P&gt;I wish this was not hard coded behavior. There should be a user selectable toggle in the view properties, or at the very least take the behavior out and let their display be controlled by VG or category overides like everything else. I just don't understand the logic of, "Hey, let's create a view setting that takes away options from the user!"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've always known this behavior to be consistant for any view set to one of the MEP disciplines, be it section, plan or whatever. I like to give mechanical equipment a light gray solid fill as a surface pattern.
