Inputting pipe slope

Having to input a pipe slope in an architectural "roof pitch" format is less than desirable. Is there a way to be able to input a pipe slope as a % value? (such as .4% slope)?

Changing your project units sould do the trick

Ok, I changed that setting. However, I'm still only getting the options to select from the "roof pitch" format slopes when drawing a pipe (or attempting to change one already drawn)

Ok sorry, I see I attatched wrong screenshot. You need, in the same window, to change the slope value under the piping discipline.

Hello,

From this shared picture you have already set a slope to this element. When you change dimensions to % , you must set this to your project.

Ok, that worked. Is there somewhere I can create a list of "standard" slopes in Revit? Similar to the default "roof pitch" format choices that were in there OOTB?

Or do I just draw the pipe and change the slope afterwards?

Open Mechanical Settings dialog and here you can define your default slopes:
