Revit Crashing, telling me to update google drive application.

Does anybody else get this technical solution when submitting a crash report in Revit?

I aksed my System Administrator about this technical solution, and his eyes rolled right out of thier sockets (I think this is normal behavior for IT staff). From what I researched, it is not possible to update Google Drive as a user, since it updates itself automatically via internet connection. It shouldnt be possible for me to have an outdated version. The link just takes me to https://www.google.com/drive/ which isnt super helpful. I am also not sure why google drive would be causing Revit to crash randomly, since I am not using it to do any Revity things.

The error report you submitted points to a problem with the googledrivesync64 module, so that is why you get this Technical Solution.

When do you get the error in Revit, is it when you open the File Open dialog or? (If yes, maybe there is an extension added to the File Open dialog that is causing the issue.)

Yes, it seems to happen most often when opening a project, or using the file browser to load in files and families.

I've received this message quite often. Is there a solution? I understand there is not a way to update google drive. I receive the error when opening/closing files and sometimes seemingly random.
