Revit normally defines the Offset of a Cable Tray by the project Levels.

It only allows you to create a height tag parameter based on the Top/Center/Bottom elevation of the cabletray, and those are indicated by the Offset.

Problem is, I acctually need to define the cabletray Height in my tag according to the Elevation of the room (on the finished floor, which is above those 0.15m).

As you can see through the print-screen, I would like to use h=3.41m for my tag instead of the original h=4.71m.

My tag uses the following parameters: Width, Height, Bottom Elevation

**For now, creating multiple levels is not an option, since here we use the levels according to the structure team.

If you are using 2017 then you could introduce a calculated value to subtract the dimension with an user input delta.

Still, why is adding non-structural/non storey levels @ the finish floors forbidden? They only reside in your file and don't affect any one else in your team.

Assign all the elements in the room to use the "000-TERREO-N95.41" level -select the cable trays and from the "Properties" box change this to that 95.41 level. And since the team knows that structural levels are being used then 3.56 (3.41 + 0.15 FFL) level of your cable tray should be fine after moving this to the room's floor level. You can use the same tag that you have.

I mean 3.56 level of your cable tray should be fine because most of the services above ceiling or at high level will be installed before finishing the floor.

What do you mean by introducing a calculated value?

I was thinking and tried without sucess to create an Instance parameter named "CT_Elevation" for Cabletrays, then create a formula to subtract the Offset with the Elevation. Just like this:

h = (Bottom Elevation) - (CT_Elevation)

But i got lost on creating the formula inside the tag.. Since i can't make formulas inside a Label, where should i apply that?

Ah, and answering about Levels on finished floors.. We are working on the same Central file instead of linking them.

Click on the Hand symbol shown in your last screenshot. That will let you create a Calculated value field as a label, where you can enter the formula.

Despite the fact that we (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc) share the same Central model, I convinced everyone to allow me create to my own Electrical levels for cabletrays and equipments.

The only difference is that i'm using those levels on a Electrical Workset. So if people want to hide it they can create a filter in their view template or something like that.

Well, I don't like it.. Since it may increase the amount of errors during the modeling.

Anyway, i'll keep trying to create a solution for a tag like that.. thanks guys!
