Issues with "Justify" in pipe systems

Hello all,

I'm having some issues trying to design a piping system. I'm still relatively new to Revit, and i cannot seem to make sense out of the pipe. If you take a look at the picture you can see that there are several wye fittings, and one fitting that is like a wye trying to bend backwards. I had been using the "justify" button to correct this issue, being that all of my wyes were trying to go this way. however, this particular one is not being affected by the justify. Please advise.

Revit should automatically give you a wye if you extend a pipe into another pipe at a 45 degree angle. Make sure your pipes and fittings are set up properly. Just like if you extend a pipe perpendicularly into another pipe, it should give you a tee (as long as your pipe junction is a tee and you have a tee loaded into your project).

Edit: i don't know if I ever saw an instance where revit wanted to flip my wye by itself. You can try deleting the branch pipe and flip your rogue wye, then create the branch pipe.

Those settings can be found in the routing preferences.

IMO it is a problem in the family, it should change its geometry when the angle is bigger than 90 degrees.

in this case you have 2 good examples of what you want, correct? and 1 bad example

delete the bad example copy one of those good examples and place it where the bad one was.

So that may be the issue, except that the angle on the flipped fitting is the exact same as all of the others that are routed correctly. Is it possible that the issue is that Revit is trying to make that connection using the "wye cobination with eighth bend" junction fitting?

When I select each on of the fittings in the picture, they are classified as "Tee Sanitary"
