Revit: How do I create multiple sheets for a large schedule?

Revit schedules: In an AutoDESK tutorial post the instructor said: "You cannot split a schedule across multiple sheets". But I need to do just that. Specifically a large room schedule. We are facility planners and this is our bread & butter. The attached screenshot .pdf shows my problem. We print nearly exclusively on 11x17. How can I get either the schedule itself to "split" and thus go onto several sheets? Or; change the way the schedule is created to be able to place it on multiple sheets? I am a rather new user, self taught and currently using Revit 2018.2

Example if you need to put one schedule on two sheets without using filters to create two different schedules.

- Drag schedule from browser onto Sheet 1

- Split schedule to two columns

- Drag column 1 to the correct position

- Drag column 2 to outside of the sheet border, on the right side, the bottom of the column must not lower than the bottom of the border.

- Drag schedule from browser onto Sheet 2

- Drag column 2 to the correct position

- Drag column 1 to outside of the sheet border, on the right side, the bottom of the column must not lower than the bottom of the border.

When you print 100% to the correct sheet size + offset corner @0,0 (do not use Center), anything outside, to the right, above the bottom of the sheet border won't print.

Okay,

I have tried this fix several different ways and cannot get it to work for me. It may have to do with the printer setup; though "print to .pdf" does not work either. It seems no matter what I do to drag or manipulate the schedule on the sheet; I get the entire schedule on the print version. This of course goes off of the sheet border. I have perused Lynda and other video tutorials with no success. Though I am positive there must be a simple way to make a schedule fit onto more than just one sheet.

This was somewhat cumbersome but eventually got me there. Printing the 1st sheet goes exactly the way as described. But printing the information on sheet 2 (or more) means having to create a copy in Revit and saving each sheet-ed version as a separate copy and printing as shown in the attachment. This prohibits printing sheets all-in-one-go, but is better than I was able to do previously.

No. You can print as many sheets in one go as you wish. See a screencast in a few minutes.

Please have a look on the plugin Reports available in the Autodesk App Store. It can handle very large schedules In multiple pages dynamically.

Hello,

I had a question regarding the occypancy, light and power schedule, Revit Parameter can give only a profile for a week (see pictures laoded) but if we need to insert another profil for weekend for exemple for thatt we can be sure that we have i compacts schedules? any answer?thank you in advance

This isn't working even with the printing settings you mention - I don't know where 0,0 is on the sheet though - its printing the columns of the schedule that are outside the titleblock

Nvm I just figured out that it will print anything to the left or below the titleblock. So I guess you have to duplicate the schedule for each sheet and move what you don't want to see up or to the right of the titleblock

Can this "Reports" tool also export images to PDF? Because I need to export Bar Bending Schedules.

Exporting BBS'es to PDF's contains hundreds of sheets to present the images perfectly.

How are engineers supposed to export BBS without losing any time? How a topic like this isn't implemented yet is just understandable.

Of course it is "understandable", the vast majority of us MEP modelers do not have to export BBS.

Maybe asking in the Structure forum would be beneficial for you. There might be some people over there that find it "un-understandable".

Just switch to Archicad, all this is working just like it should be there, without any complications 😄
