Sub-subcategories in Revit?

Hi

1. I have strange request to have 2 types of lines (dashed and solid) under the same subcategory..let's say "Equipment". Is there a way to trick this without adding a new one assigned for dashed lines?

2. What's the best way to have as input the Area and Radius to belong to the formula ?

Thanks!

Indeed but then the Detail Item entities belong to Detail Item Category..not Mechanical as needed. The ideea is to uncheck once all entities that belong to main rfa.

When you turn off the parent main category <STRIKE>or subcategor</STRIKE>y, all the nested (not shared) families will be turned off.

I can see the flaw with this when you need to turn off a subcategory, not main category.

Firstly I need to uncheck the subcategory & If I understand correctly your workflow.. this is what you mean, not the way I need.
