I'm having an issue when I export my 3d Revit model to AutoCAD to post in Naviswork for coordination. My conduits are 5 inches higher then I have in my Revit Model. For example if I have a conduit at the height of 9'-0" in my Revit model when i go into the naviswork model my conduits would be at 9'-5"

There is no need to export to AutoCAD first, just export to Navisworks format (NWC) directly from Revit. You might need to install the Export addin depending on the version of Revit you're using.

Have you used/configured Shared Coordinates? Are you exporting using that or Project Coordinates? Are your levels set properly? In other words if Level 1 is at 5" then your pipe is 9'-0" above Level 1 but actually at 9'-5" relative to zero.

I have to export to AutoCAD because the project manger ask that all trades post their models in DWG files.

I'm using revit 2018 i'm not sure if it has the export addin your referring too.

i'm using Project Coordinates

Okay, I suppose they have their own reasons (probably layer based search sets) but translation from one format to be read into another where native formats are available isn't optimal.

What do you find when you examine the DWG file yourself? Is everything offset by this 5"? If you're responding to their criticism of your file it is possible they are altering it in Navisworks incorrectly. For example, there could a Z axis transform that moves your model or the other models they are using could be wrong instead.

Do you have Navisworks too? Try appending your DWG file and see what you get.

I suspect your file is getting transformed incorrectly when it is appended to their model. That could be a units issue or the user may have used Units and Transform and shifted your model "up".

Have you examined the Options associated with Importing DWG, (under File Readers). After appending the file, select it and right-click on it in the Selection window and choose Units and Transform and see what the values are there.
