As far as I have been able to tell there is not easy way to either import a schedule into Revit 2019 or export a Revit schedule into a pre-made Excel file. I am wondering what are the best add-ins that i should use for this. There are only 11 line items i need to import to an excel file.

Thank you in advance.

What do you mean with import excel in Revit. What are you planning to do with the data from excel?

Depending on the use you could:

-Make an image of the excel file and import it into Revit.

-For export you can convert a schedule to .txt file which you can import in Excel

-You can use Dynamo to push and pull data from/to Excel

What I am doing it creating a BOM for a solar project. I have an excel file that our vendor wants us to use. Cells C17 - C27 need to be filled out by revit. I have attached my Template and my excel sheet. The yellow highlighted section in the excel file is where I need the information put. Here is what I am needing help on, On sheet 'Mat-00 - Material Ordering Information' there are 11 items that I need to have put in specific Cells in a pre=made excel file. If i cannot do this is there a way I can recreate my Excel file in Revit.

I am not able to post my template in here.

I installed Sticky, It seems like that program is to take an excel file and import it into Revit. Which is a GREAT Feature. However, I need to take the information from my schedule I created and place it in a pre-determined cell in an Excel file. If Sticky can do this, please by all mean hook me up with that information.

I'm not sure if it will do exactly what you want.. you may need to investigate. You may also want to look at Ideate BIM Link. I'm not too experienced with it but it may be an option for you as well. A youtube link for each below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blpitRCiDck

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA9E02Qpc0M

Right now I have a zoom meeting with Ideate in a couple of hours. They were able to do what i need them to do. They sent me a video using my files to show me how to do what i needed to do. VERY professional people. Responded to my email within an hour. Thank you for suggesting them, that is why I selected your answer as the solution. After the meeting Ill post how it goes.
