System analysis 2022

I use system analysis to get hvac system loads and sizing report when analytical systems was created. its shows "energyplus simulation did not generate a report for systems analysis" .but without analytical systems it give load report.what mistake I did? Pls explain. Without analytical systems it

What does the error file in your temp directory say? You can check it like this:

If a systems analysis fails, check the eplusout.err error log located in the system temp folder.

In Windows Explorer, enter %temp% to quickly open the temp folder and search for a folder with the same name as the selected analysis workflow. Depending on your Windows security settings, you may have one more system-generated folder.

The folder path will look similar to this: C:\Users\<login>\AppData\Local\Temp\3\fbf31253-58bb-4d1a-b5db-ae57c7b3aee2\HVAC Systems Loads and Sizing. The eplusout.err log file is located in the \run sub-folder.

The critical error is at the bottom of the of the text file, scroll down or attach the file.

Your AHU-01 preheat coil has an inlet air temperature higher than the outlet air temperature, which is impossible for a heating coil.

From the text file:

Did you ensure that the water loop assigned to the preheat coil is a heating water loop?

I removed the waterloop of AHU preheat coil.but still its shows same error ''inlet temperature is must less than outlet temperature''.how to solve .pls give solution .

Start with as simple of a system as you can and build from there.

Try to remove all systems and just have all your analytical systems unassigned. Then run the "HVAC Systems Loads and Sizing". If you can get that to run try all electric heating and direct expansion cooling. If you can get that to run, add in water systems.

I'm finally trying to get to grips with systems analysis.

I've been following the tutorial here: https://www.autodesk.com/certification/learn/course/revit-system-analysis-mechanical-design-professional

When I got to the part where you run the systems analysis it failed with the error in this post.

There is no eplusout.err error file as far as I can see - couldn't find it.

According to this support article lack of an error report indicates that two spaces share the same zone equipment.

After trying several attempts with no success I built a test model with four walls, roof, floor, door and windows, one space, zone equipment is unit heater with electrical resistance coil, all energy settings etc seem to be okay.

I've tried in in both 2021 and 2022, all updates applied.

No matter what I do I cannot get the software to generate a systems analysis report.

Any clues as to why?

I have an active support case with Autodesk and have been working with their support and development teams for a couple of months now to try to get a solution. It seems this is a very rare problem and is caused by some of the pre-requisite software not installing properly but so far they’ve been unable to solve it.

I have a test model with one space and one electric heater and it won’t run the report.

The gbxml seems to generate but OpenStudio won’t run.

I think they are getting close to an answer based on some diagnostics they’ve run on my laptop (which doesn’t run the analysis despite a couple of clean re-installs) and my pc (which runs fine).
If and when I get a solution I’ll post it here.

I get the same issue,but it's not happening on the same model and method on other laptop with windows 10. Any relation with that?

I too tried the same model on Revit 2021 on a different laptop without any issue. Seems to be related to revit 2023 and the particular laptop.
