Not sure what the issue is. Few things to look at. Blends can only use a single loop.for each profile.

So you can start a blend and then use the pick line tool to select one of the loops for bottom and one of the loops for the top. You can repeat this process for the other two profiles

If you want to base the blend on the two profiles you have to make the inner blend a void and cut it from the other blend

After that you can delete the two profiles remaining in the view

I have created complex profiles for both base and top in 2 different Ref. plans at different elevations. Now I want to create a blend bur I don't have the option to select them when I click create and edit top, I get the error 'sketch is empty'. Can anyone explain me if is possible and what am I doing wrong?

I didn't have the option to use 'pick line' I was only able to edit from scratch the base and the top. Please tell me step by step.

And, for extrusion I was able to use two loops, I assumed that is similar for blend.

Thanx a lot!

1-Start the blend tool

2-Choose Pick Lines (highlighted)

3-I then started picking the first and second line of one of the profiles and (you can use tab key to chain select)

4-After selecting all the lines of the profile, switch to top

5-Repeat the process selecting the second profile

6-Then select the green checkmark to finish the command

Then you should have the first blend.

7-If needed you can adjust the top and bottom of the blend in the right position.

You also can adjust the First End an Last End values if that is easier.

Most of the things can be done in different views, which is most convenient

Create the second blend in the same way. Then convert the "inner" blend into a void (by changing Solid/Void parameter to void) and cut that from the "outer" blend.

You also can start the inner part immediately as void blend.
