Color scheme, 3d view and section

Hello

I recently discovered color schemes, which is very useful for coloring networks (even if you have to do it line by line... grr) and creating legends automatically.

But several problems despite everything (contradict me please)

- Apparently they cannot be applied to a 3d view or to section views. Why? Anyway to bypass it?

- Equipment with several connectors, therefore connected to several systems, takes the color of the 1st system connected (or in alphabetical order, or other, it doesn't matter). How to leave him his family color?

Any idea to get around these issues?

Sections and elevations: easy, turn on room color fills same as plans.

Thank you, I already saw that video, but it seems it doesn't work with sections.

And about 3d, it's ok, but i was thinking of using colors in a working view, one i navigate a lot in.

This tip is useful for final rendering.

For sections you simply turn on Color scheme just like you do for plans.

I get it, you want to take advange of the auto color fill legend. I know it may take a little bit of time but you could set up a legend view that has the desired look and all specified colors for each system, then create a filter for each system type name and apply it to your views. Save your filters on a view template with no other category included. (see photo). This will allow you to merge it to other view templates.

That's exactly what I didn't want to do, lol
Having to match the filter tab with color scheme is a pain when lots of systems are used.
If I use filter and color, then there's no point using color scheme.
So the only advantage would be to have an automatic legend.

Too bad we can't do it better.

Dude, did you even read my posts fully? Section views CAN have color scheme just like floor plan views.

Have you explored using the system graphic overrides and material/finish to apply colour?

View templates with filters are tedious to setup but once done can be used and reused again and again.
