What size are the pdf files that are created, are they several megabytes each?

Do you have a lot of shaded views on your sheets causing the printer settings to change to raster mode?

I am working for the first time in Revit 2023. In a relatively large project the prints in previous versions of Revit have taken about 5 minutes max, but in this project when printing to Bluebeam PDF Revit cannot handle it. The progress bar freezes, Revit goes unresponsive, and nothing ever ends up getting printed. I have tried another work around by using Revit's export PDF function, but even that has been freezing and causing Revit to stop responding. The only success I had was printing a single sheet by itself, otherwise I am stuck. I really need to be able to print to Bluebeam PDF because there are more specific color options for our drawings, is there a solution to this problem out there?

I am combining the sheets into one file that should end up being around 50 MB. There are some sheets with shading, will that force raster mode even when I have vector selected?

It sounds like you are experiencing performance issues when trying to print to Bluebeam PDF in Revit 2023. This can be caused by a number of factors, including the size and complexity of your project, the amount of memory available on your computer, and the settings you are using for printing.

One solution would be to try optimizing your project by reducing the number of elements, simplifying the model, and ensuring that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Revit 2023. You may also want to try adjusting your print settings, such as reducing the resolution or the number of sheets printed at a time.

Another solution would be to try using a third-party plugin for Revit that can handle printing large projects. Some examples of plugins that may work for you include Ideate BIMLink, Bluebeam Revu, and BIM Track.

You can also try to contact Bluebeam support and Revit support for help troubleshoot the problem, they may have some specific solution for this problem.
