How to extend the hexagon line

I want the hexagon all side line extend distance from 30mm to 50mm at once time..

I made the parameter at all side but error. Thanks.

Hello,

For such kind of geometry extrusion, I suggest you use Sweep or Swept Blend with profiles.

You can create a profile family, using reference plans to control the size, and these plans will not clutter your geometry family

I just ran into this problem recently the way I was able to make them all move equally is by using a extremely small set of reference lines in the hexagonal shape at the center of the hexagon. Then I used the align dimensions tool to set the distance I want from each side of the small hexagon to each side of the larger hexagon.

if you not wanting to adjust it using parameters, just select the entire shape and use the scale tool.

I wanting to adjust it using parameters, because I have difference type and difference size hexagon...

E.G

Type A 30mm distance hexagon

Type B 50mm distance hexagon

@pe_simon With parameters see my example above it will work for your application. It is the only way I have been able to figure it out. Just set up a tiny hexagon of the same orientation as a reference line in the center of it. Then use algin dimensions from the smaller hexagon to the larger one for every side and then create a parameter and set all those dimensions to that parameter. I put in an idea for them to make polygons adjustable by the radius/diameter of the circle you draw it out originally with.
