Hi Guys,

Nee help, when i open a Model in Bim360 i got this error " This operation could not be completed. Please try again"

Also look in the journal file and found this:

1:< SendActivity: Could not send activity notification to PAC.

and

'status: ERROR

Thank you for the question @Anonymous, and detailed problem description!

From what you are seeing in the journals it sounds like you are encountering the issue described in the following article:

"This operation could not be completed" when opening a cloud workshared model in Revit

Can you confirm that the error is cleared if you turn off the FIPS compliant algorithm requirement?

I would like to bump this message. I'm getting this exact same issue in Revit 2019-2021.

Revit will freeze during the opening process of a model hosted on BIM 360 Docs. Then when I check the logs I get the same message over and over again.

This is happening repeatedly and I've run out of good ideas at this point.

Issue you (@DWarren_CPL) are encountering:

Action: Open BIM 360 model

Error/Result: Revit hangs up (stops responding with no error).

Journal entries: ' 0:< SendActivity: Could not send activity notification to PAC.

Based on the Journal entries mentioned, it doesn’t sound like these are the same issue.

Searching on the forum, I did find this thread where the same journal entry is mentioned C4R - One user can't access model. However, it sounds like the journal entry mentioned wasn’t directly related to the actual issue (low hard disk space), and there were other more relevant entries recorded in the journal (0:< GetLastError returned 112 - There is not enough space on the disk.)

If the info in the thread above does not lead to a solution, I would suggest going back to the journals and see if there is any other entries around the time the issue occurs that could be searched on. If no existing info is found on the behavior, then a new forum thread could be created to get assistance in investigating the behavior (it would be good to include journals and info on troubleshooting that has already been done).
