You could just create a sort of dummy sheet for the numbering ie. refering to the other file, but otherwise I suppose you need to recreate the views in the new main project for instance using insert/import 2D elements to view and insert sheets from file or using an add-on to do the same... never had to do this though, perhaps there's a simple solution I'm unaware of as of yet..:)

Let's say you have Model A and Model B. Then you link Model B to Model A. Model B linked sheets may appear in Model A sheet-list if you check Nested Link Elements checkbox, but you cannot open or batch print these sheets through Model A.

Options:
1- you can use pyRevit plug-in to copy Model B sheets to Model A, but you may have to work something manually;

2- you can have Model A, Model B, and Document Model C, where you'll link both model just to work all your documentation. I use this strategy sometimes, but be aware that you'll lose some features that are much easier to work if model and sheets are both at the same file.

If you want the sheets to be all in the main model then those Sheets need to be recreated in the main model. (the views on sheets from the links do not carry over to the main)

Alternatively, you could link both models into a third model and create your sheets there.
