Schedule Edit Interface tab

Guys, the interface of Edit Schedule tab always left oriented, where I guess most users have the project browser also on the left of the screen.

I m thinking to change working habit by placing the project browser to the right from now on. Just wondering is there a way to make the Schedule Edit tab to be right side oriented before I commit the move ?

Can you please post a image? I don't undersand what you mean by "the interface of Edit Schedule tab always left oriented".

No. The palette you can move and dock up/down/left/right. But the contents/views cannot be locked or toggled between left/right hand alignment

I can dock/lock the project browser, but I can't with the schedule tab.

Wd be best if every morning once open Rv will show up exactly like it.

It is a schedule view, not a tab. Just maximize it.

By the look of it, your Browser/Properties panel is floating. Drag it to the right edge so that it is anchored down.

I know you can lock the project browser to the right.

I don't think maximize the schedule view will lock or locate it next to the project browser if the project browser is locked to the left or floating to the left. It s always behind.

It s no big deal but kinda bother me to rearrange all of them every time I want to work on the schedule.

Dock the Browser/Properties first then maximize your schedule view. Works the same on any version.

It is actually (largely) impossible to achieve what you've got there in that screenshot anymore. In latest version project browser tab can no longer float within client area (in a meaningful way) it is docked or it is floating external. If it is floating external the schedule takes up the whole client area (tabbed or tiled with other views). If it is docked the view(s) take up the remaining area (tabbed or tiled).

If you try to float it over client area these days it'll just block the tabbed or tiled views. You obviously could float all the views and arrange them carefully back over the client area I suppose but that is a bit weird and pointless.

I still can in any version. Not that I would ever want to float any panels inside the drawing area.

I realised that and made some sneaky edits but as you say you wouldn't really get any benefit from working that way.

There is no longer that MDI client behaviour you used to get with the older versions.

You can still dock it if you drag it over the left border.

Then you can tile or arrange the other views in the remaining space of the MDI client. In older versions 9/10 you dock the project browser/properties on the left and have one view maximised into the remaining space on the right.

Your project browser/properties is floating in client area which isn't easy to do in new version without obscuring the other views that aren't floating i.e. in newer version the other views are not floating by default and would take up the whole area when properties/project browser is floating.

Rv spent ton of money, I guess, on fancy stuff each rev. that only benefits a handful of firms, but small things like this will benefit EVERYONE.
