Linking title block to a revit model

As we recently transitioned to Revit, we haven't encountered this before so any suggestions on going about this would be appreciated...

We are an Architect of Record for this job, but the model will be created by someone else (We are doing all the code review, specs, and etc and using the other firm as draftsmen)

As we are going to be sharing a Revit file (not sure how yet) but I am wondering is there a way to link a title block to a project? we don't want the other firm to have our title block, but we want them to be able to make changes to the model and work on sheets, just not using our title block.

In AutoCAD we would send let's say base drawings to MEP and they would put their title block on it, and at some point, we could send them an updated base drawing and they insert their title block on it...

1.create a project

2.set up all title block families in that project

3. Link the Architectural model into your project

4.set up all your sheets as needed in your project using your title block family.

this method works well - when you receive an updated model do not change the name simply archive the previous version in an archive folder and overwrite the model in its original project folder location

the same approach works with all the engineers if they are using Revit.

would I be able to link sheets from the linked model also? I want the other firm to be able to work on the sheets, rearrange things / add views to them (without our title block, I can create a detail line rectange for them as a "canvas size")

you can share the title block family with anyone working on the project

if you do not want to share the Title Block family make a copy of it and modify it to only show the border as you described.

you do not link a title block into a project

you load a title block as a family, then when you create a sheet in the project it prompts you to select the correct title block family
