Closet door vs room area separation

Guys, how do I make a particular closet door to NOT separate the rooms, given I want the main room and closet (room) to be counted as one room.

Make the wall between the main room and the closet to Not Room Bounding.

Thx. I was wondering if the host wall inside the door family itself can do anything regarding this. That wd be quicker if the door itself is non room bounding.

No. The host wall in the family is just a reference. It doesn't come into play in the Project. If you don't want to make the entire wall non-bounding, then split the Wall on both sides of the Door and then replace the Wall that is hosting the Door with a non-bounding Wall Type.

I got thís combined room by accident, see attached. The closet wall IS room bounding and is a part of unit group. And nothing unusual in 3d view either. I thought maybe it has something to do with the door, but it s not true, because the same door in other room didn't do that. Scratching my head still.

Maybe the Door is hosted to a non-Room-Bounding Wall that is embedded in a Room-Bounding Wall. In Elevation or 3D View, select the Wall and Isolate it in the View. Is there a hole in it?

...check the Base Offset of the Wall. Maybe it is offset a bit. That would affect bounding.

+ No, there is no other wall. I made the layout myself, I wd know. And I did double checked.

+ I don't know how to isolate.

+ No, all walls are at floor level offset to 0.

I suspect it has something to do with the door. Here is other room with a glass door. I did cut a section to check the room calculation height. It looks normal. See attached.

(Yes, I do want to find out and take advantage of this accidentally combined room).

The walls might be just fine. It might also have to do with the Room, Phase settings and/or Phase Filters applied...that could lead to something similar to what is shown in those images

See walls/room example: both walls are bounding, no offsets and profile not edited. The intended issue in the below is the applied Phase and Phase Filter where the room and the walls are on two different phases.
