Revit 2023 download and install

I have just spent 8 hours trying to download revit 2023 with my educational license. I had no issue doing this for 2021 or 2022 now I download 23 and then it is no where to be found... When i select install from the website it comes up saying that it is already installed. I have searched my whole laptop for this with no success and I have repeated the same steps several times with no luck.

Hello @guy.ward , have you tried following all steps of the Uninstall guide?

I have encountered the same problem with Revit 2020, saying that there was one already installed - even after I removed seemingly all Autodesk folders. Only after I have cleaned regedit, I have been able to properly install Revit.

I had the same issue. I went to try and download the trial version (because I know it will sync up with my student profile later on anyways) so I went here: Revit Software | Get Prices & Buy Official Revit 2023 (autodesk.co.uk)

Then it redirected me to this link where you will be asked if you are a Business, Education or File Viewer: Trial Intake | Revit 2022 | Autodesk.

Select 'Education' > then click on 'Education Community' button below it. It will take you to the Student Registration Page and ask you to 'Confirm Eligibility', click on 'Get Started'.

Sign in your Student Login, then the next page will take you to all the Autodesk education software you can download which will then include Revit 2023 and others (that might have been missing from your Autodesk Desktop App).

Hey I think my issue was I'd tried installing it onto a different drive and parts went to another drive I basically just searched through everything and deleted and unistalled it until I couldnt find traces of it and then re did it
