    <description>&lt;P&gt;Set the filter operator to "is greater than" and leave the text field blank. This will filter out any materials that do not have a value assigned for this parameter. This will then get rid of that blank first line. This is how we have our finish schedules filtered as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Material schedule has a empty row</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a material takeoff shcedule on elevation sheet.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/14058344"&gt;@taejooY875Z&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have the option "Itemize every Instance" unchecked, which implies the schedule is capturing some categories/elements, which has some values but are combined into one blank row (under formatting set to blank) …&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can start by, removing sorting and checking the box Itemize every Instance to figure out which categories are causing this blank row and empty their values&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yeah I played with that option. It works for some other schedule but didn't give me what I want for this schedule. I think the post above using filter "greater than" works for this case.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
