It is not a tag, but a generic annotation family with a label associated with the elevation value of the host family.

Is it possible to show the height of an adaptive point from a Generic Model family on a tag via shared parameter?

I have an Adaptive Generic Model family for the diagonal line of a ceiling. I use this, so the line changes automatically according to the ceiling. Now I'd need a tag that can show the height offset of the ceiling (e.g. h=2500), by reading a parameter from the said Adaptive Generic Model family.*

The family is based simply on two adaptive points, that has a model line going through in between them. It works on a model, by placing the points one at a time on the corners of a ceiling (or any surface what so ever).

As said above: is there a way to read the adaptive point's (or the line's) height offset, and transport that information to the tag via shared parameter?

*I don't wish to use a ceiling tag for this, as they don't rotate, except by manually inserting an approximate degree on the Properties. While the Generic Model tag automatically positions and rotates correctly.

Adaptive Point Elevation? Adaptive Points don't have an Elevation. But besides that, there are easier ways to get ceiling height into Floor Plan Views. Is that all this is about? Showing ceiling height diagonally?

...oh, and the linework too? I suppose that line extends from opposite kitty-corners. What if the room is round? 😉

Host a line based family on the ceiling and nest a label in it.

This seems to have potential, but you can't insert a tag in a 3D model family. What way is it possible to nest a label in the line family?
