Stacking wall horizontally

Hey guys, I would like to know if I can stack walls horizontally, meaning I combine multiple wall layers in one.

Lets say for example I would like to stack a curtain wall panel with 2 different wall types and they all start and finish at the same height (smtg like the image above)

So yo want to add layers to a wall? I fail to see where in practice one needs a wall 22 walls thick...

But you can create one wall containing all those wall components. Or add multiple walls and join them.

You can get there by creating Parts and Displacing Parts of a Basic Wall Type.

...obviously, the portions created with Curtain Walls or Beam Systems would need to be separate assemblies sandwiched inbetween.

So @barthbradley, but this means I still have to model them separetely but can make them "one" with the parts tool?

@HVAC-Novice About the reason we need it is because we are creating @ wood frame panel wall and exploring the possibilites to use curtain grid systems for that matter. Not sure if it is a good idea but it has been helpful so far (I know there are plenty of good paid add ins but we can't affod the at the moment)

Model them as a wall with multiple layers, air space between physical materials. Create parts and exclude air space layers from parts then you are left with the layers of materials like what you show

Well sure you have to model the sandwiched Curtain Wall/Beam Systems separately. But Basic Wall Assemblies that are sandwiched into the whole assembly can be broken up via Create Parts.

Or maybe I'm missing your point.

- Stacking them on plan

- Constrain ends to the same ref planes

- Attach top and bottom to the same ref planes (or floor/roof/ceiling)

- Dimension those constraining elements with global parameters

Now when you change the global parameters, all the walls resize accordingly.
