I’m not even sure what to call it

I have deleted, and re-downloaded the program(Revit 2023) a couple times, and solved the issues with the paths. But I don’t know what to do with these

When I open up the software, a notification that says that Formit converter was unable to load because it doesn’t exist. Same goes for AXM, E transmit, batch print.
I don’t know where to download these help?

I get these banners every time I open up the software. Revit. And I have redownloaded. Many times already, but what do I do? I have fixed the paths

You've given us almost nothing as to what your issue is. Just that banners pop up when you open the software. Not sure how you expect anyone to help you with that.

Does the software still open? What do the banners say? Is this the first time trying open Revit?

The issue is the banners that pop up. I don’t want it to be another issue later on

I’ve fully read your reply at the first time, the forum cut my post short. The banners say things along the lines of: the formit converter failed to initialize because it doesn’t exist. Same goes for AXM, E, transmit and, batch print.

So Revit isn't your problem. Your add-ins are. I'm not an expert on add-ins, but the first thing I'd try is uninstalling them and reinstalling them.

But I did not get any add ins, I just downloaded the original software. So I’m not sure how to do that without messing up the whole thing.

It looks to me that with reinstalling some leftovers from the previous installation have not been removed.
Try to do clean uninstall/reinstall. See THIS page for more information.

And because it seems to have to do with add-ins you might pay close attention to the add-ins folders.

So I was able to follow all the steps to do a clean uninstall. Except the last one, I don't have. The %temp% file

Nope, not there. I did a deep dive and I found a lot of files called temp but none of them fit the Location you gave me

If you are using a windows PC then you have a temp folder. Just copy the file path above and paste it into the address bar of windows file explorer, then delete all the files within the folder, but do not delete the folder itself.

@nlee9761 Based on the screenshot you provided, it looks like Revit is looking for the AXMImporter.dll on your desktop, in a folder called FormItConverter for Revit 2023.

By default, this file would be created in the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FormIt Converter for Revit 2023 folder. However, during the installation of Revit (which will include some "built in" add-ons), you have the option of modifying the installation location, and based on the screenshot it looks like you installed Revit directly onto your desktop.

If this is the case, I would recommend uninstalling Revit, then reinstalling in another location as having those files on the Desktop would make it easy to delete/move the installation files leading to problems using Revit.

@nlee9761 Looks like you have two threads going on this topic (other thread).

To check the path set for your Temp folder you can go through the following steps:

Click the Windows Start button.
Search for Environmental Variables.
Select the result Edit environment variables for your account (Control Panel).
Under "User variables for <Windows User Name>", find the TEMP and TMP variables, and the corresponding Value.
If these don't exist, you can create them (by default these are C:\Users\<Windows User Name>\AppData\Local\Temp).

Revit uses the temp folder for installation and for regular usage, so it is important that these Environmental Variables exist.
